{"id":158,"date":"2016-07-18T16:36:49","date_gmt":"2016-07-18T14:36:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.axilumrobotics.com\/ww2\/en\/?page_id=158"},"modified":"2020-07-06T08:54:37","modified_gmt":"2020-07-06T06:54:37","slug":"accessing-complex-tms-protocols","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.axilumrobotics.com\/en\/accessing-complex-tms-protocols\/","title":{"rendered":"Accessing to complex TMS protocols"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Axilum Robotics TMS-Robot is able to perform a wide range of tasks, from the simple holding of the TMS coil at a predefined target, to the controlled movement of the TMS coil along complex trajectories in the brain.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In spring 2014, Axilum Robotics participated with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ub.edu\/web\/ub\/en\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">University of Barcelona<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.starlab.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Starlab<\/a> company and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tmslab.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Harvard Medical School<\/a>, to the first brain to brain communication, demonstrating the conscious transmission of information between human brains through the intact scalp and without intervention of motor or peripheral sensory systems [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.axilumrobotics.com\/en\/publications\/\">1<\/a>]. Axilum Robotics TMS-Robot ensured a high repeatability for the 140 stimulations at the same occipital location, with 2 different coil orientations, during a single session as required by the protocol to generate phosphenes.
