Axilum Robotics attended the 1st International Conference on Brain Stimulation in Singapore from March 2nd to 4th, 2015: You could meet us at the booth of our partners MagVenture and Rogue Resolutions. Please contact us if you want to meet us during a next congress and get introduced to our assistance robot for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).
Brain stimulation methods are new approaches to research how the brain works and to treat diseases. In many ways the field of brain stimulation is a new paradigm shift, replacing the prominent neuropsychopharmacological paradigm of the past three decades. This international meeting was the first ever brain stimulation meeting with integration of all of the various techniques and subspecialties involved in this exciting field.
Two abstracts of research conducted with Axilum Robotics TMS-Robot have been presented at the conference:
- “Mapping human cortical excitability through coupling between robotized TMS and EEG”, by S. Harquel et al.;
- “Conscious brain-to-brain communication in humans using non-invasive technologies”, by C. Grau et al.
